Coaches Information

2010 information.

Coaching Clinics are being offered for potential coaches and volunteers in the Storm Lacrosse Association. The sessions will be held at the BLT (P – 2) building. Bring a stick and comfortable clothes and sneakers. The more the merrier.

This is supplemental training sponsored by Storm Lacrosse. The Association requires that all coaches and assistant coaches also be certified (see below) to coach at the level as required for the Division they plan to coach. We also strongly encourage coaches and anyone who thinks they might be interested in coaching to attend this sessions.

The clinic will be run by Kent Haley, the Association’s technical director. Kent has coached Provincial Midget and Bantam teams and has played at the National level. He is also well known around the local arenas through his refereeing over the years. Kent is starting his second season in a technical support role for Storm Lacrosse coaches. He receives a nominal reimbursement from the Association for his efforts and is available to any coach throughout the season to assist in practice planning and player skill development. His contact information in on our website.

The following clinic will focus on basic skill development and practice preparation (geared to coaches at all divisions):

Session 1         April 22nd (Thursday)  8:30 – 10:00PM            BLT (P-2) School
